For those of you who do not know me or my background here it is: I was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana. Been living in California for 1.5 years. I used to work for Mario Batali doing PR work for the corporate office of his restaurants in LA, quit that to become the Asst. Varsity Coach at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy. This is my second year at FVBC. I’m currently playing on the men’s volleyball team as a setter at Santa Monica College, working to pursue a career in Radiation Therapy. Prior to moving to CA, I played Division I volleyball for Ball State University in which 2 of those years we finished in the Top 5 in the country. I was a middle and a setter in high school, a right side and outside hitter on my club team (Cincinnati Attack, on which my 2 18s year we finished top 15 at Junior Olympics in Open Division), I was the libero for the USA A2 team in which I was able to train with the USA Jr. National Team in Colorado Springs for a summer in high school, then I committed to Ball State University where I was a libero and a setter.

This is my 8th year of coaching girls volleyball. I formerly coached for Asics Munciana Volleyball Club. Throughout my journey there, I helped coach teams to win 2 USA Jr Olympic National Championships, 4 AAU National Championships, 2 JVDA National Championships. I have coached many girls who are very well known in the Division I realm of college volleyball (Darcy Dorton-Penn State, Kim Kuzma,Mary Ording-Wisconsin, Caitlin Vann-Missouri, Kristina Johnson, Taylor Unroe-Florida, Mia Tabberson-Minnesota, Christiana Gray-Duke, Kelli Miller-Purdue, Yvonne Martin, Bethany Akerhielm -Dayton, Caitlin Cox- Indiana, and many others.
